Vegan Recipes You Must Try

Written by Eliana Parker

Many people are making the transition into veganism, but for some, it seems like an impossible plant-based hill to climb. Often, the biggest concerns when making the switch to this lifestyle are: “How will I get enough protein?” and “How do I make vegan food taste good?”.

Vegan food doesn’t mean you have to miss out on any of the foods you love! It’s all about creativity and ingenuity. Whether you’re already vegan, thinking about going vegan, newly vegan, or just looking for new delicious recipes, here are some of my favourite delicious vegan recipes that will leave you feeling satisfied:

Ingredients:

  • 1 head cauliflower (broken into florets)
  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup non-dairy milk
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • ¼ cup buffalo sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey, agave, or maple syrup
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • ½ cup vegan ranch (try Follow Your Heart!)

Preheat your oven to 450º and line your baking sheet with parchment paper. In a large bowl, combine flour, non-dairy milk, garlic powder, salt, pepper and paprika until well mixed. Evenly coat your cauliflower in the mixture and place your cauliflower on the baking sheet. Bake for 10 minutes, flip, and then bake for another 10 minutes. While your cauliflower is in the oven, take a small bowl and combine buffalo sauce, honey (or agave or maple syrup), and coconut oil and stir until consistent. Brush the buffalo sauce mixture onto the cauliflower and bake for another 20 minutes. Serve cauliflower with vegan ranch on the side. Enjoy!
