We’re almost there, Humber. Officially, there are less than 30 days left in the semester, and you can almost taste the freedom.
At this moment, your mind might wander as you sit in lectures, complete final assignments, and prepare for exams.
You might also be distracted by the release of summer attractions such as music festivals, food festivals, and concerts coming to the city. Or, you and your friends are planning a road trip or arranged a trip overseas.
Sounds inviting, I know.
Forget about it!
For many courses, the exam makes up the bulk of your overall grade. This is not the time to put your head to sky and enjoy the warm weather coming in. Hit the books, study, and stay attentive to what is occurring in your classes.
If you haven’t already, remember to visit the library in the fourth floor of the LRC.
If you prefer to study in groups, you can reserve a study room at the Library. The rooms have a 2 hour time limit, and your group will lose your booking if unused 15 minutes into your reserved time.
Also, if you, can try to secure yourselves a summer job or volunteer opportunity. Check out the Humber Job Portal for openings that might interest you.
Use your summer wisely, and return bright eyed and bushy tailed in the fall.
