Bestival ain’t like the rest of the tivals going down this summer in Toronto. Originating in a theme park on an island south of the England’s mainland back in 2004; the theme park is peanuts compared to Wonderland for reference. It’s now in its second year of migrating it’s peace and love atmosphere here in Toronto. This year they switched up the location from Toronto Island, to the Woodbine Park located in The Beaches district.
This two day event features three stages, a dedicated area to dancing and music that supports your booty shaking inclinations, a dress up tent, arts and crafts, and pretty much everything you would want at a party that revolves around peace, love and music. Johnny White keeps this international act alive as a solo performance nowadays, but he still captures the energy as if it were still a duo. This underground dance pioneer will be taking the Bollywood stage at 7:30 on Saturday night.
This producer/DJ based out of Toronto just broke his way onto the Billboards this week with the track La La Land with DVBBS and featuring Delaney Jane. He’s performed across the globe and will be laying it all down at 6 o’clock in The Big Top stage Saturday night.
He’s entertained all over the GTA at every kind of event possible, he just recently performed at Electric Island giving a stellar performance.This resident DJ of Coda and Comfort Zone be bringing all his energy to the stage to give you an exhilarating performance when he kicks off the Bollywood stage Saturday at one.
Their music video Run This took home an MMVA in 2014, this Duo from Ottawa have grown up together perfecting their craft. They’ve performed at Red Bull’s Thre6style and they’ll be bringing their rough and bold sounds Saturday at 2:50 on The Big Top stage.

What’s new age art pop music? Jones might be the answer to that question. His pulsating rhythms layered with ethereal synths and tied all together with drifting voice. He’s starting The Main stage up Saturday afternoon at 1:45, this is a performance you won’t want to miss.
This duo based out of Calgary blends the styles of music in a way that’s gained them world recognition and has allowed them to share the stage with acts like Chromeo, Diplo, DJ Assault and many more. Bring your dancing shoes for 1:45 on Saturday at The Big Top stage, and i’m not talking about your cowboy boots.
