After a number of singles and videos released throughout the year, the self-proclaimed "Prince of the City," Jazz Cartier has finally revealed the release date for his upcoming Fleurever album.
The 23-year-old Toronto rapper, Jaye Adams, known as Jazz Cartier has come long and far since his last project of Hotel Paranoia in 2016. With some collaborations with Lou Phelps, Larry June, Mike WiLL Made-It and Ktoe Beats, we can expect to see many more artists appearing in his 16-track album this late July.
As a child growing up, he was made to adapt to numerous environments, Cartier spent many of his younger years living in several cities across the U.S before settling back into his original hometown of Toronto. He credited the different types of music he was exposed to throughout the various towns in being a significant influence on his own style as a hip-hop musician.
This summer, Cartier performed as a headliner in Toronto at Yonge and Dundas Square for NXNE (North by North East), alongside many other artists such as Chvrches, Lights, Azealia Banks, Yungblud and dozens more. He continues to make his rounds this summer to various festivals, concerts, and events while still collaborating and bringing new music to his fans.
It's taken a bit for Cartier's latest project to release, but the rapper assures his fans that he was taking his time on Fleurever to be precisely the way his fans expect it to be. "I wanted to give my fans an experience after they've held it down for so long. Everything will make sense come July 27th. The third chapter and the greatest one yet."
His next chapter is coming soon and fast, and in a typical Jazz fashion, he is including his fans in the roll-out, leading a scavenger hunt through the internet where listeners can unlock details of the upcoming project on his official website, www.jazzcartier.com. It's safe to say we've been waiting Fleurever for this!
