Above & Beyond

This trio from London will be one of the headlining acts this year at Veld. Originating from the United Kingdom, Above & Beyond has gained quite the following since their start in 2000. They have been listed in the Top 100 DJ Poll done by DJ Magazine and continue to stay relevant. Their vocal trance music is laced with catchy beats that will put you in the perfect party mood. If you plan to go to Veld you need to see Above & Beyond.




The widely known Canadian DJ himself is set to headline at this year’s festival. Apart from his talent to produce some great music, his signature mouse head is something he’s also recognized for. Deadmau5’s ability to make music into something unique is why he’s been nominated for 6 Grammy’s. His fame blew up in the recent years and his success has made many Canadians proud. Being one of the highest paid electronic artists in the world, it’s clear that deadmau5’s dedication to his music is paying off. Ryan Raddon, who also goes by the stage name of Kaskade has been somewhat of a pioneer in the EDM community. Though he his notoriety blew up in the past few years, Kaskade has watched EDM grow and become the success it is today. New York Times referred to him as the “New Face of EDM” and he has performed at some of the biggest festivals in the world such as Coahcella. Kaskade has also been ranked as the #1 DJ in America in both 2011 and 2013.

This Toronto based DJ has built an impressive following since leaving his home country of Scotland. If you’re ever been to The Guverment on Saturday nights you may already know of Mark Oliver. He has made a name for himself within the EDM community especially in Toronto. His ability to bring massive crowds together makes him truly talented. Mark Oliver has played and private functions for some of the biggest celebrities such as Madonna, U2, The Rolling Stones,and Prince. Though not headlining at Veld, this is a great chance to support a fellow Torontonian all while enjoy his music that will make you want to move your body.




One of the most anticipated headlining acts at Veld is Hardwell. He has set records with being rated as the #1 DJ in both 2013 and 2014 at the young age of 25. This makes him the youngest DJ ever to receive this title. Originally from the Netherlands, it is clear that Harwell is a go-getter. If winning the title of the World’s #1 DJ two years in a row isn’t enough, Hardwell’s performances have gotten millions of views online. From all of this online attention, he is said to be the most in demand live set artist of today. With Veld happening in the city, you have the opportunity of a lifetime to see one of the biggest names in EDM. Don’t let this chance of a lifetime pass!




Another Canadian name will be performing at Veld this year! DVBBS is a group made of two brothers from Orangeville. People would argue that their song “Tsunami” is what helped them rise to fame. The song has been remixed and made it to #1 on the UK Charts. Their unique ability to make different beats flow together as well as their use of clever beat drops is what makes these brothers so talented. Over the past few years the duo has been able to create a huge following with over 3 million likes on Facebook. If you haven’t heard of DVBBS I highly suggest you check them out this year at Veld.
