Food Festivals To Hit For The Month Of June

Not only is it BBQ and Beer Garden season, but it’s also when all the yummy food festivals come to Toronto. The Month of June is packed with cool food festivals that are worth checking out especially if you’re a foodie or if you don’t feel like cooking dinner.

The city is packed with Food Festivals all month, so I’m only going to mention a few.

June 1st

  • Have wood burning oven pizza in the park at Christie Pits from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Libretto Pizzeria is hosting this for the fourth year in a row and all proceeds will go to the Butterflyway project.
  • Feast On Popup picnic is also happening June first at Dundas Square from 12 to 1:30 (just in time for lunch). There’s tasting stations and there will be a farmer’s market with freshly locally grown Ontario produce.
  • St Lawrence Market BBQ in the park is happening for it’s 6th year in St James Park located at King and Jarvis from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. There will also be a concert powered by bicycles (might be interesting to see).

A 3-day Mac and Cheese Festival (yes please) is happening June 2nd, 3rd and, 4th at Ontario Place. This is where all your wildest Mac and Cheese dreams come true, talented chefs from all over will be preparing all kinds of different types of good old mac and cheese.

June 3rd from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM is the annual Riverside Easts and Beats street festival and this year is extra specially because it’s in celebration for Canada’s 150th Birthday.

Toronto Taste 2017 is going down June 4th at Lakeside, Corus Quay from 6:00 until 11:00 PM there will be food prepared by 60 of Toronto’s top chefs and live entertainment with beautiful views.
