One of Toronto’s most iconic landmarks will allow you to view the city from the clouds. Those who are brave enough will get to walk the ledge above the tower’s main pod (if you’re wondering, that’s 1, 168 ft. above the ground). Alongside an experienced guide, EdgeWalk lasts about 90 minutes and includes a 20 to 30 minute outdoor walk. The experience costs $195, includes photos and videos of your walk and re-entry into the CN Tower. The best time to book your walk is during the last available time, 8:30 pm, as you’ll get to experience an amazing city sunset.
And hey, if you’re not ready to walk the ledge just yet, don’t worry as you can still stand above the glass floor inside the CN Tower.
WildPlay Niagara Falls is bringing ziplining and an adventure course to the falls this summer. The zip line operates from the Grand View Marketplace located within Queen Victoria Park. Four high speed side-by-side lines will descend 2,200 ft. from the Marketplace down into the Niagara Gorge. You can catch the picturesque views of the American and Canadians Falls. For thrill seekers, it is set to be an unforgettable flight, and a step-up from the ever so popular blue rain ponchos and boat rides.

The second attraction is the Whirlpool Adventure Course, located in Thompson Park on the north side of the Whirlpool. There are 3 self-paced courses that visitors can choose from, and they will need to navigate amongst several obstacles including zip lines, monkey bars, and log lines. Keep in mind that the level of intensity becomes increasingly difficult the further you progress in the course. The Classic Course reaches up to 45 ft., and the Extreme Course is an add on that will take you all the way up to 60 ft.

Both of these adventures provides a unique way to experience Niagara, the Gorge, and Niagara Parks. They are set to open to the public on July 20th.

If you’re still looking for an adventure, but would like to do something a little less intense, then taking a hot air balloon ride might be for you. Sundance has several locations across Canada, including Ottawa, London and Kitchener-Waterloo. Flights are approximately one hour long, and prices vary depending on the number of people, as well as the time and day of your flight. Whether you’re celebrating a birthday or wanting to cross it off your bucket list, it’s an opportunity to witness some of the greatest views this province has to offer from 500 ft. in the air.

It is sometimes referred to as “the ultimate rush,” and it may be one of the most accurate descriptions. Skydive Toronto is one of the most established and experienced skydiving schools in Canada, but you don’t have to be a pro to participate. They offer Tandem Skydive, which pairs first time jumpers with an experienced one. In order to ensure your safety, before the jump, there is an hour and a half of ground preparation that includes Skydiving operation video and a rehearsal on one of their aircraft mockups. The plane will reach an altitude of 13,000 ft., and while freefalling you’ll reach speeds of over 190 km/h. You’ll also be privy to views of Lake Simcoe, Barrie and the Toronto skyline.

If you’re terrified of skydiving, but still interested in experiencing the feeling of flight, then indoor skydiving is something you should check out. iFLY employs all the aspects of skydiving without ever having to pack a parachute, ripcord or get on an airplane, and it is all thanks to their freefall simulator. With the help of one their many experienced instructors, you can defy gravity!

Whatever the case may be, Ultimate Exotics offers a Track Day experience that will give you the opportunity to race some of the world’s most exotic cars. They have partnered with Toronto Motorsports Park, and don’t worry if you’ve never been on a track or supercar as their professional race instructors will be there to guide you every step of the way.
