Another weekend is fast approaching in the city and that age-old question begins to enter your mind: what do I want to eat for brunch?

Well, I am here to help you answer that question. It is far too easy to fall into a routine when it comes to brunch - you find a place or an item you like and never change it up! However, there is no greater feeling than trying a new restaurant and finding that you not only like it, but love it (oh, the joy and new place to add to our rotation!).

I am going to tell you a little about one of the favorites on my brunch rotation: Boom Breakfast & Co. This is one of the first brunch places that I went to after moving to the city. The menu is full of delicious food, including traditional breakfasts, eggs benedicts, omelettes, sandwiches, burger and breakwiches. The really special stuff, however, is in the Breakfast at Tiffany’s section. This is where I usually order from.

The first dish I must recommend is the Chick-A-Dilla, a breakfast quesadilla featuring eggs, cheese and spinach inside. Oh, and also guacamole, salsa and sour cream for dipping. The dish is served with nice crispy frites, and is quite the treat for brunch. The containers that the dips come in are made of tortilla chip so you won’t waste a bit of dip.

The Chick-A-Dilla is not the only amazing dish that I recommend eating at Boom. The Huevos Rancheros Burrito is also a must try when you inevitably come back for your second visit. This delicious breakfast burrito contains eggs, green onions, and tomatoes, plus sour cream, salsa, and guacamole.

If you order either of these dishes at Boom I am sure that you will be leaving quite satisfied.

So now that I have told you all about some of the great food you can get at Boom Breakfast & Co., you probably want to know where you need to go. They have four locations throughout the GTA (three in the city and one in Vaughan): 808 College St, 1036 St. Clair West, 174 Eglinton Avenue W. and 145 Hawkeye Blvd Unit 7. All Locations are open 7am-4pm daily, while the location on College is open a little earlier at 6am.
